Japanese beetles

I know Japanese beetles are quite popular & invasive. There are some chemical as well as natural means to help control them. Do you have this problem? What have you done to manage this situation? How successful were you?

Never heard about these Japanese Beetles because they may not available here. I have failed to control white insects most time so it is very hard for any insecticide.
