I've owned a 100 gallon as my biggest tank, although I've done this with tanks as small as 3-5 gallon (just with far, far fewer plants).

I owned currently 2000 litres tank which is used for my household and other things as it is connected to the plants too. I am looking this time to connect separately with 5k litres tank as it would help water the plants when I am away for few days.

I owned 5000 Litres tank in my agriculture farm and at my home 1000 litres, although they are suitable for me and fits for a week of my use.

I had only 1000 litres tank still so far and never interested in buying one more because of groundwater that I use for my plants.
