Did anyone seen a chart or image that shows which plants have more root growth and / or those with less root growth?
I was worried about what I couldgrow in my NFT system since water backing up in pipes.

As far as I seen Spinach and other leafy vegetables had a good growth, but some of them had grown other plants too with big roots. I can't remember them, but ill try to get those images or videos here..

My cinnamon (Bay leaf) plant tap root edge is broken when I take it to replant, is it survive!?

You need to transplant and see the growth, but most of time is success as per my belief. You should have taken care while pulling it out or asked before pulling out.
How about the current status of the plant?

How does this happen in aquaponics? It is easy to replace in another pot as we have only water without soil.
