I'm guessing at least 2 week, or when they root? I'm going to try during winter, in the bay area. Would 4-6 hour direct sunlight be ok?

I guess 8 hour sunlight is enough for growing anything even some plants require sunlight. What type of plants are you growing now? Please tell us what is the in your garden?
