What is the minimum size you recommend to make the whole process sustainable in terms of cost and delivery? My aim is to produce my own food.

It also depends on what you are planting. Some veggies like being crowded so you get more bang for your buck while others need room to grow.

The cost always depends upon the climate condition and the vegetables you want to grow. It is tough to produce your own food for family, but if you are able to grow some vegetables, then your can proceed in easy method.
