How many times does one water their vegetables, is it everyday or should l skip a day?

Are you saying to vegetable plants or vegetables?
If plants then you have to water once in a day or twice during summer, but just see the soil is wet or not. Some plants like Fig need water only in summer and can handle dry soil for 2 to 3 days.

Dig a finger(1-2 inches in winter) in the soil if seems wet then no need to water the plants,if dry then u can water them.

I think you should see the soil condition or use a soil moisture sensor for watering plants. In winter we need to water once in a week or 4 days since it can't dry up easily.
