Where can I find a hole melter?

Red onions are expensive if organic, I only regrow table scraps with much success! But where can I find a hole melter? Is that a soldering iron?

What type of hole melter you need? and where you want to use? Soldering Iron works only plastic, rubber, etc, but not steel or wood. I prefer you to buy a readymade that can solve your need.
