Did anyone used this Soil moisture sensor? if so what are the advantages and disadvantegs against this instument?

I have used only Soil moisture sensor which works with electrodes as you see on most online sellers. By watching this video i believe it is chinese made component andsimilar to wifi LOT devices.

These are almost faulty sensors and seen the electrode sensors too. A lot of sensors are coming, but the manufacturer never doing research vefore upgrading their last version. please check this video for a fix to this sensors.
