I think that this is really a fantastic idea, Drip irrigation is today's need because Water nature's gift to mankind is not unlimited and free forever. Drip irrigation reduces water contact with crop leaves, stems, and fruit. Thus conditions may be less favorable for the onset of diseases.

It will create a huge demand for PVC (polyvinyl chloride) pipes. The project will cover 2,50,000 hectares under drip irrigation every year .
