Drip irrigation in Garden?
#1
Did anyone used Drip irrigation in their Garden? Is it worth to invest and does it help for gardeners?

I had been using Hose and nozzle, but that doesn't help to me sending water to the roots of soil. I can set the Hose or nozzle to spray the garden while I've been away.

The difference between price is $30 only, but does that is good to invest in them?

hi canada farmer
Well investing in drip irrigation is always suggested by me. It all depends upon the plants and required amount of water for them. Can you post what plants you have and how is your layout?

Please use a drip irrigation kit as it solves a lot of problems and save time too. If you want to automate your system, then go with the timer.

Drop irrigation is good in the areas where there are water shortages or have a hot climate (that soaks water from the soil pretty fast). However, we don't have water shortages, therefore, have never used this system of watering.

Is it possible to create a system that can be feed from both a rain barrel (gravity fed) and a hose bib - or do those need to be independent systems?
