Flower lover here. Why? Because they're just stunning and exquisite. What kind, what type of flowers do you like? My favorite is lilac, a close second is the rose.

  Sprinkler for Tomato Plants?
Posted by: ScottyD - 07-28-2011, 06:36 AM - Forum: sprinkler - Replies (12)

I imagine there are loads of knowledgeable people who follow this forum so you guys might be able to help me. I've been growing plum and beef tomatoes in a smallish patch of land this summer and find the water process tiring.

Can anyone recommend a sprinkler that would replace my work? Tongue

  Beetroots for Working Out
Posted by: ScottyD - 07-28-2011, 06:34 AM - Forum: vegetables - Replies (1)

I recently discovered while reading a health magazine how good beetroots are for you! They contain high levels of nitrates which are essential for those who participate in physical activity.

I'm in the UK and we get loads during this time of the year, I've been eating and drinking them while really feeling good afterwards!

I've wanted to start growing Alovera for medical use for a while now but live in the UK. I've seen plenty of it when on holiday in Spain and wondered whether the UK soil would be the right type to support it's growth. Does anyone know whether it's possible?
