Do you have a system of when & how you prune? Do you do it seasonally? Or perhaps only when they are in need of it? Do you pay attention to the "rules" of when you should prune? i.e. in the spring or in the fall?
We don't prune that often but when we do, it's more for when they need it rather than a seasonal to-do.

I usually prune only when the plants need it, like removing dead or overcrowded branches, rather than following a calendar. I keep the general “rules” in mind, like avoiding heavy pruning in late fall for some trees, but mostly I go by the plant’s health and growth. It feels more natural and avoids stressing them unnecessarily.
