Anybody have to deal with crabgrass? I know it’s common here in the USA. Other countries may have another grass that’s equally invasive & hard to get rid of. Share ideas you have of removing it Smile

I usually remove the grass with my hands if it is small area, but in agriculture lands we run ploughing tool to remove anything to clean the farming area.
It is very tough job to control the growth of grass.

Crab grass is grown here too, but we remove manually since we had small space compared to farms. In Farming people use ploughing the field here.
I haven't seen using lawn mower since most farmers here not attracted for latest technology

Ugh, it's the worst! For a post-emergent, look for something with quinclorac. It's a lifesaver. As for next year, get that pre-emergent down in early spring before the seeds germinate. You've got this

The best defense is a thick, healthy lawn. For now, keep pulling what you can. For next year, mark your calendar: apply a pre-emergent like prodiamine when the forsythia bushes start to bloom in your area. That's the classic timing cue!
