Myrica cerifera Uses (Short):
Used in traditional medicine as an astringent for diarrhea, colds, and sore throat.
Berries produce natural wax used to make bayberry candles.
Grown as an ornamental hedge plant in landscaping.
Berries feed birds and support wildlife.

I think most of people use in gardens for this reasons
Used as an ornamental shrub or hedge in gardens.
Helps in soil stabilization, especially in sandy or coastal areas.
The plant fixes nitrogen, improving soil fertility.
